Gots lots of questions about RAB
Like why he took the locket and sent it out to sea
What those initials stood for, whose side he was on
And another question: where had his gender gone?
Did it fly away never ever to bond?
To the body that he had when born?
Had no one asked him become the norm?
Gender can’t touch him no need to perform
Known as the calm before the storm
Cause of confusion, won’t conform
Just vibing all night with quite the charm
Waving his wand creating art
Chorus
Assigned [redacted] at birth, Regulus knows
His gender is a mystery wherever he goes
That’s the way he likes it, so that’s the way it stays
He and his gender have long since parted ways
Even as a Seeker out on the Quidditch pitch
People always asking’ if he’s a wizard or witch
When Death Eaters asked to sign up and enlist
He marked his gender down as: does not exist
Even You-Know-Who doesn’t have it figured
Skilled legilimens can’t crack code of gender
Amusement and a smile at the surrender
That one can defeat this big bad wizard
With simple spells of nonconformity
Stand up to Dark Lord authority
Begin the battle against purity
Nonsense curse it into obscurity
Chorus
Sorted into Slytherin, he kept his secrets well
What’s on his birth certificate, he’d never tell
What the Dark Lord tried to do with his house-elf slave
He’d take those secrets to his dark watery grave
Exuded the traits of the Hogwarts houses
Brave like a lion that’s boundless
Loyal to a fault like a badger it’s doubtless
Like an eagle with smart ’n’ wit prowess
He’s a silent hero, who faced the cave
Drank the poison that crashed his brain
Damned determined not to break
Even in last moments, he took the blame
Chorus

Big ups to Zoe and endever* commenting that there should be a cover done by me for this song. And to the wonderful Totally Knuts for allowing me to cover this track. I had a lot of fun making it and hope y'all enjoy it.

A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource

The moment I heard 'Forget the Girl' on a mix years ago, I fell in love, and I was so delighted to find more music by the same band. Avery's lyrics are a standout in the world of wizard rock, and I don't say this lightly. His grasp of characters and the heartfelt, poetic songwriting and delivery are second to none. I adore songs about canon relationships that give me new insights, and this album does that so well. yourwizardrockresource
