Fearsome Castle Durmstrang
Home to students dark and strong
Fires lit on magic stone
Cold that chills ye’ to the bone
Unplottable to Muggle eyes
Dark Arts flourish, ostracized
Why is their castle so remote?
It can only be reached by fuckin’ boat!
Durmstrang’s might cannot be beat
Our magic grim, our minds replete
Of victory in the tournament
Though Karkaroff sits so corpulent
But we remember glory days
When Grindelwald led the way
Victor will be number one
We’ll crush Hogwarts like so much scum!
Proud wizards of Castle Durmstrang
We all embrace Sturm und Drang
Ushanka hats and iron boots
We train in climes as Dark recluse
Sailing upon the open water
Subjugate, murder, and slaughter!
So drink tonight, but beware Potter
We stalk our quarry underwater.

A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource

The moment I heard 'Forget the Girl' on a mix years ago, I fell in love, and I was so delighted to find more music by the same band. Avery's lyrics are a standout in the world of wizard rock, and I don't say this lightly. His grasp of characters and the heartfelt, poetic songwriting and delivery are second to none. I adore songs about canon relationships that give me new insights, and this album does that so well. yourwizardrockresource
